Our Visitors - In Categories

Drive by visitors - hundreds, maybe thousands: We were on one of Philly’s busiest north-south arteries for 8 hours. There are four lanes of non-stop traffic passing by. It is hard to say just how many visitors actually took in the meaning of our exhibit, but lots of folks acknowledged us while passing by. It may well be that some figured it out after watching the evening news later on.

Pedestrians - over 500 people took in our park visually while walking by on Broad Street.

Conversationalists - we had a lot of cool conversations with visitors, perhaps 100 or so discussions with visitors took place for our event.

Photographers - we estimate that ten people photographed our event.

We passed out about 20-30 brochures. We did not emphasize this aspect of the event. We estimate that about 50 people left stones on action steps they could take to improve local environments and another 10 or so added to our chalk drawings.
